We arrive 22nd august for 2 weeks. Am i correct in beleiving its generaly hot and humid with daily short showers.

It is hot, hot hot! After a rain it becomes very humid We've gone 4 times in late September and early October. The weather is hot and humid which is great when you are by the ocean or pool. It is a nice time of year because it isn't crowded and the prices are lower. The forecast is usually rain but if it does rain it is only a brief afternoon shower and then the sun comes out and it gets hot again. In the 4 weeks that we were there, I think we only had 1 full day of rain.

Hot, clear skies, calm water. We were actually able to get in the ocean. We had been in Cancun previously in December and late June, and the red flags were always out. Out of the times we have been there, September was my favorite. I know it can be hit or miss - guess we were just lucky! We're going in late May this year. Anytime you're on a beach is better than being in Ohio!

My own experiences for late September have ranged from beyond hot and humid to and entire vacation of rain every day, and a few tropical storms along the way. Now two years back to back have been the same weather for us.

I've been traveling to the area for the better part of the last 20 years. In general it's very hot and very humid. Real Feel temps are upwards of F Thundershowers in the late afternoon or evening are what is mexico like in september. They are usually over as quickly as they start. We usually get one solid day of rain in a week's stay.

We went a couple of years ago in September and it did rain for the 1st few days, what is mexico like in september after that the rest of our two week holiday was fab. We are going back again early How to take a window out of the frame. Have a fab holiday.

We are going to Cancun September 15th through the 30th I am taking leave from Iraq to go to Cancun for two weeks and president kennedy ask not what your country speech praying that it is no stress because I am looking forward to this well needed vacation.

I have been in the Army for 5 years and this will be my first "vacation" ever. I pray that the how to work at usa will be good the whole time we are there. Hurricane Irene just hit in the carribian hitting Puerto Rico and will be heading to the U. I read that hurricane season in the carribian will be VERY active this year and rain will be constant non stop in Cancun during this time.

On the other hand, I keep reading on this forum that in Cancun, what is a good state to live in usa it does rain, it doesnt last for long so there shouldnt be any problems.

I hope that this is true and its not BS from a Cancun vacation promoter. Please can someone be honest and let us know what the no BS weather is usually like in mid to late september? Skip to main content. Sign in to get trip updates and message other travelers.

The station records are corrected for the elevation difference between the station and Cabo San Lucas according to the International Standard Atmosphere , and by the relative change present in the MERRA-2 satellite-era reanalysis between the two locations.

Please note that the station records themselves may additionally have been back-filled using other nearby stations or the MERRA-2 reanalysis. All data relating to the Sun's position e. We draw particular cautious attention to our reliance on the MERRA-2 model-based reconstructions for a number of important data series. While having the tremendous advantages of temporal and spatial completeness, these reconstructions: 1 are based on computer models that may have model-based errors, 2 are coarsely sampled on a 50 km grid and are therefore unable to reconstruct the local variations of many microclimates, and 3 have particular difficulty with the weather in some coastal areas, especially small islands.
